Parmesan and Pecorino Cheese Twists

Perfect for the endless dinner parties, store in your pantry and whip out when your guests arrive!

2 sheets of puff pastry

1 large egg

1 cup of your choice of cheese (we love half parmesan and half pecorino)

4 tbs of your favourite Henry Langdon Spice or Salt Rub (you can choose more than 1!)


Preheat your oven to 200°C. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper.

In a small bowl, crack the egg and mix the yolk and whites together. Take the puff pastry out of the freezer (it is easier to cut frozen puff pastry!).

Cut one sheet of puff pastry in half and coat one half with egg mix. Sprinkle cheese to your liking on top of the egg and add your choice of Henry Langdon Spice or Sea Salt Rub.

Place the other half of puff pastry on top of the cheese, making sure the edges are sealed. Slice into long 1cm long strips and twirl slightly and place on the baking tray. Repeat.

Once the pastry twirls are on the baking tray, brush again with the egg mixture and add more cheese and your choice of Henry Langdon Spice or Sea Salt Rub, for added flavour!

Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown depending on your oven. Repeat for the other piece of pastry (you can make as many as your heart desires!)

Enjoy by themselves, or add them to your charcuterie board for dips!
