- Cleaned Squid Hoods
- 1/2 Cup Rice Flour
- 2 Tablespoons Henry Langdon Cracked Black Pepper Sea Salt Rub
Preheat oven to 150 degrees Celsius (fan forced). Cut cleaned squid hoods in half lengthways and in half again, & score inside. Pat dry with a paper towel. Heat vegetable oil for shallow frying over medium to high heat.
In a bowl, combine other ingredients; rice flour and Henry Langdon Cracked Black Pepper Sea Salt Rub. Take the squid and evenly coat each piece, removing any excess by lightly shaking. Once all coated, take coated squid to the shallow hot oil frying pan and cook for a few minutes or until they start to lightly golden.
Once turning lightly golden, remove from oil and put on a baking sheet. Place baking sheet in oven to finish the cooking of the squid. Serve with a fresh slice of lemon and a light salad.
